World Schools Festival fixtures finalised

The fixtures for the World Schools Festival, to take place at Paul Roos Gymnasium in Stellenbosch from 26-30 March, have been announced.

The first day of the festival will see a couple of enticing clashes, with Glenwood facing Dunedin-based John McGlashan College, while Monument will take on the English Hartpury College, who will be making their second appearance at the festival.

Day two sees Grey College, who went through 2018 unbeaten, up against Christchurch Boys’ High, producer of the likes of Dan Carter, Brodie Retallick and Matt Todd, as the standout fixture. Hosts Paul Roos are also in action against Southland Boys’ High.

On day three, Paarl Gim will play Hartpury, while Monument are up against John McGlashan, and day four pits Grey College against Southland, Affies against Christchurch and Paul Roos against Napier Boys’ High.

SACS vs World Schools Select XV
Monument vs Hartpury College
Paarl Gim vs Africa Pacific Select XV

27 March (Day 2):

Affies vs Italian All Stars
Boland Landbou vs Napier Boys’ High
Hilton College vs USA Schools XV
Grey College vs Christchurch Boys’ High
Paul Roos vs Southland Boys’ High

29 March (Day 3):

SA Invitation XV vs World Schools Select XV
SACS vs Zambezi Steelers
Glenwood vs Africa Pacific Select XV
Paarl Gim vs Hartpury College
Monument vs John McGlashan

30 March (Day 4):

Boland Landbou vs USA Schools XV
Hilton College vs Italian All-Stars
Grey College vs Southland Boys’ High
Affies vs Christchurch Boys’ High
Paul Roos vs Napier Boys’ High
