An alleged bite from France’s Axelle Berthoumieu on Ireland’s Aoife Wafer went unpunished in Sunday’s Women’s World Cup quarter-final.
Wafer’s protests to South African referee Aimee Barrett-Theron went unheeded, and the TMO also chose not to intervene.
France went on to win 18-13.
