Willie le Roux and Faf de Klerk were named in the English Premiership Team of the Year for the 2017-2018 season at an awards ceremony in London on Wednesday.
De Klerk is the only Sale Sharks player who made the Dream Team, while Le Roux is one of two Wasps representatives – alongside Danny Cipriani – to be included in the elite squad.
Former Stormers flank Don Armand, who plays for the Exeter Chiefs, was selected in the Dream Team for the second year in a row.
The 26-year-old De Klerk was on the five-man shortlist for the Player of the Year award, but the prize went to Vereniki Goneva of the Newcastle Falcons. The Fijian wing was the joint top try-scorer of the season with 13 touchdowns.
