For the Vodacom Super Rugby matches involving South African teams in round 15.

BRUMBIES vs VODACOM BULLS (Canberra, Friday, 11:45am)

– The Brumbies have won five of their last six Super Rugby matches against the Bulls (L1), including the last three matches in succession.

– The Brumbies have won nine of their 10 Super Rugby matches against the Bulls at home (L1), their only defeat coming in the Bulls’ title-winning season of 2007.

– The Bulls have won four of their last five Super Rugby matches against Australian teams (L1), their only defeat over that span coming against the Brumbies.

– The Bulls have the best lineout success rate in Super Rugby 2019 (93%), a full four percentage points higher than the Brumbies (89%).

– Sam Carter has won 49 lineouts on his team’s own throw this Super Rugby season, more than any other player in the competition; however, he’s managed to steal only one lineout against the throw this campaign.

STORMERS vs HIGHLANDERS (Newlands, Saturday, 3:05pm)

– The Highlanders have won their last three Super Rugby games against the Stormers by an average margin of 26 points per game.

– The Stormers have won five of their last six Super Rugby matches against the Highlanders in South Africa (L1), including their last four on the bounce.

– The Highlanders have won only one of their last six Super Rugby games away from home; their only win over that span a 52-0 triumph over the Sunwolves.

– The Highlanders have scored 14 tries within the opening quarter of games in Super Rugby 2019, more than any other team in the competition and nearly three times as many as the Stormers (5).

– The Stormers’ Seabelo Senatla has scored two tries in his last two Super Rugby games when he’s started from the bench on the day.

SHARKS vs LIONS (Durban, Saturday, 5:15pm)

– The Sharks have won their last two Super Rugby games on the bounce against the Lions; however, they had lost their seven meetings in succession prior to that brace.

– The Sharks have lost five of their last seven South African derbies as hosts in Super Rugby, including their last two on the bounce; they have never lost more than three such fixtures in succession.

– The Lions have won 10 of their last 13 Super Rugby matches visiting the other South African teams (D1, L2), both losses over that span came despite leading at half-time.

– The Lions are one of only two teams (Rebels) with a 90% success rate at both the lineout (90%) and the scrum (92%) in Super Rugby 2019.

– Makazole Mapimpi (Sharks) has scored three tries in his last three games against the Lions, including a brace in his last game against them.
