Aaron Smith says the Jaguares’ impressive Vodacom Super Rugby form will count for little when Argentina clash with the All Blacks this weekend.
Argentina will be hopeful of grabbing their first-ever victory over New Zealand when they meet the All Blacks in Buenos Aires on Saturday, especially after the Jaguares put in an impressive effort to finish as finalists in this year’s Super Rugby season.

The majority of Argentina’s squad is made up from the Jaguares with European-based stars such as flyhalf Nicolas Sanchez and wing Santiago Cordero adding plenty of experience to the set-up.
However, speaking to the media on Wednesday, Smith said the All Blacks are not keen to give up their 28-game unbeaten run over their opponents.
‘Their results in Super Rugby would say they are going to have a really good opportunity. But I believe test matches are different,’ Smith told Stuff.co.nz.
‘They are going to have a different team as well, a few new players coming in. And we are going to have our strongest team out there as well.
‘It’s going to be a hard game. It’s called a test match for a reason. So, yeah, take what you will from that.’
