SA Schools get new captain to front England

Free State hooker Andre-Hugo Venter SA Schools get new captain to front England

Andre-Hugo Venter has displaced Jacques Goosen as hooker and captain in one of four changes to the SA Schools team to face England on Saturday.

Coach Mzwakhe Nkosi has opted to rest regular skipper, Goosen, for the big clash with Venter rotating into the lineup.

Flank Siyemukela Ndlovu has been ruled out of the final match due to injury and Nkosi recalled Keketso Morabe to the starting team.

In the second row, Simon Miller and Connor Evans swap places, with the former earning a start and the latter benched.

There a solitary change to the backline, where the versatile Boldwin Hansen takes over from Mntungwa Mapantsela on the wing.

Meanwhile, coach Phiwe Nomlomo has made seven changes to the SA Schools A side, with Renzo du Plessis, Sisonke Vumazonke, Marco van Rhyn, Gerhard van der Merwe, Lukhanyo Vokozela, Nsuku Baloyi and Joseph Iye coming into the team.
