Scott Robertson says he has a few decisions to make after missing out on the All Blacks head coach job.
Robertson led the Crusaders to three consecutive Vodacom Super Rugby titles, an unprecedented feat that allowed him to go head to head with Ian Foster for the All Blacks top coaching job.
On Wednesday, it was confirmed that Robertson had lost out after Foster was promoted from Steve Hansen’s assistant to his successor in the All Blacks ranks.

In a candid interview with 1News on Thursday, the 45-year-old Robertson admitted he is disappointed at being overlooked.
‘It feels like an election, the last six months. It’s been a hell of a time, I learned a lot,’ he said.
‘The thing I’m proud of, my two-and-a-half hours with the panel, I gave my heart, I left it in there. They made a decision and went another way.’
Robertson was quick to congratulate Foster, but also confirmed he would be reapplying for the All Blacks job in future.
‘Both of us have been through a process. We understand that it’s nothing personal.
‘I’ve got a few decisions to make. I’ve got 18 months in this job and then we’ll see – it’s dear to my heart. I was close this time, so if the timing is right, why not,’ Robertson said.
