Reports in Ireland suggest that Springbok centre Damian de Allende will join PRO14 side Munster at the start of the 2020-21 season.
According to the Irish Times, De Allende has agreed a two-year deal with the Irish province and will join the side next season. He will be unavailable for the Stormers until next May as he will be playing in Japan for the Panasonic Wild Knights.
The Japanese Top League starts in January and runs through until May.

The 27-year-old will link up with Munster head coach Johann van Graan, who coached him during his time as Springbok assistant under Heyneke Meyer and Allister Coetzee. He will also be following in the footsteps of former Bok captain Jean de Villiers, who joined Munster from the Stormers in 2009.
De Allende played a major role in the Springboks’ World Cup success, forming a solid midfield partnership with Lukhanyo Am and scoring a try in the semi-final victory over Wales. His defensive work also did not go unnoticed, while he gave England plenty of problems in the World Cup final with a number of strong carries upfield.
