Cheetahs coach Hawies Fourie has named a strong lineup for Saturday’s Currie Cup clash against the Sharks in Bloemfontein on Saturday.
Following his release from the Springbok squad, wing Rosko Specman has been fast-tracked into the Cheetahs’ starting XV, alongside Clayton Blommetjies and Duncan Saal in the back three.
David Brots and Siya Masuku are the preferred midfield duo with Brandon Thomson and captain Ruan Pienaar serving as the halfback axis.
Up front, Aidon Davis, Jacques Potgieter and Jeandre Rudolph make up the loose trio. Jean Droste partners Rynier Bernardo in the second row and in the front row, hooker Marnus van der Merwe will scrum down with props Hencus van Wyk and Aluluthu Tshakweni.
