Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus is confident his team can resolve its lineout issues.
The Boks lost four lineouts in their 12-11 loss to England at Twickenham on Saturday, with hooker Malcolm Marx responsible for two overthrows.
‘No, it’s not a crisis,’ Erasmus said when asked about the malfunctioning lineout on Monday, as quoted by Netwerk24. ‘It did cost us a victory against England, but I’m not worried that it will be a problem for our confidence.’
Erasmus added that England had competed well to steal two of the Bok lineouts and that there wasn’t a problem with his team’s system.

Meanwhile, the Bok coach said the three-week gap between their last match of the Rugby Championship and their first tour match had seen his team lose ‘a bit of rhythm’ as had been the case last year when the Boks lost 38-3 to Ireland in Dublin having pushed the All Blacks close at Newlands.
‘Players like Damian Willemse, Bongi Mbonambi and Wilco Louw, who played in the Currie Cup final, were on the plane to London two hours after the match.’
However, Erasmus said this was not an excuse as the northern hemisphere teams are in a similar situation when they tour the southern hemisphere in June.
