Fijian superstar Semi Radradra is reportedly content with taking a massive $2-million pay cut to return to rugby league.
The star utility back, who lit up with the World Cup pool stages with several dazzling performances, could move back to the NRL in Australia according to The Daily Telegraph.
The 27-year-old who plays for Bordeaux-Begles in France’s Top 14 league, is reportedly homesick and has cited the French weather and family reasons for wanting a return to the 13-man code.
Radradra scored 82 tries in 94 matches for NRL club Parramatta Eels between 2013 and 2017, before joining Toulon in 2017, and then moving to Bordeaux last year.
The Fiji union and league international put in a man-of-the-match performance against eventual semi-finalist’s Wales in Japan, despite being on the losing side and lead most of the individual attacking statistics up until the knockout rounds.

Radradra reportedly told friends that he prefers a move to the South Sydney Rabbitohs, the club which former England dual-international Sam Burgess played for, before he was forced into an early retirement last month.
Radradra made history at the global showpiece in Japan by becoming the first tier two player to be involved in five tries in a single World Cup match, in Fiji’s 45-10 demolition of Georgia.
The powerful wing, who is equally adept at outside centre, has scored five tries in 10 international Tests since making his debut last year, including a try in Fiji’s first-ever victory over France in Paris.
