James O’Connor is available for Wallabies selection after it was confirmed that he has signed a Vodacom Super Rugby deal with the Reds.
O’Connor joined the Wallabies squad in Johannesburg for training last week, but was not eligible for selection for Saturday’s Rugby Championship clash with South Africa without the deal.
However, it was confirmed on Tuesday that the 29-year-old had penned a deal with the Queensland-based franchise in time to be available for Australia’s opening Test at Ellis Park.
The 29-year-old O’Connor has made 44 Test appearances since his debut in 2008.
