The inclusion of S’bu Nkosi is one of four changes to the Sharks’ starting lineup for Saturday’s match against the Stormers at Newlands.
Nkosi returns on the right wing with Lwazi Mvovo shifting to the left in place of Makazole Mapimpi, who has been selected for the Sharks XV Provincial Rugby Challenge squad.
In a rotational swap, Louis Schreuder starts at No 9 and Cameron Wright will provide scrumhalf cover off the bench.
Coach Robert du Preez has been forced to tweak his loose trio after Jean-Luc du Preez was ruled out with a knee injury, while Jacques Vermeulen comes in as the blindside flank replacement.
Loosehead prop Beast Mtawarira has been selected on the bench as Juan Schoeman takes his place in the front row.
Prop John-Hubert Meyer and loose forward Wian Vosloo have been added to the bench.
