The Lions have announced that injured players will have to undergo medical testing this week to determine how their rehabilitation progressed during lockdown.
With South Africa thrust into lockdown on 26 March in an attempt to curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus, citizens have been restricted to their homes, meaning the Lions have not had an opportunity to monitor their players.
However, the country has since moved to alert level 3, which allows for professional sports teams to return to training as of 1 June.
On Monday 8 June, the Lions confirmed that Vincent Tshituka (ankle), Jaco Kriel (ankle) and Rhyno Herbst (shoulder) will undergo fitness tests this week.
