Fullback Hugo Keenan returns as Leinster gear up to tackle Toulon without a seasoned campaigner in Saturday’s Investec Champions Cup semi-final against Toulon.
Veteran tighthead prop Tadhg Furlong lost his race to be fit for the clash at the Aviva Stadium.
Furlong limped off during Leinster’s Vodacom URC defeat to Benetton last week. Tom Clarkson has been promoted to the starting XV.
RINGROSE: Leinster driven by heartbreak
There is, however, a timely boost for Leinster with Keenan returning to the lineup, while experienced midfield duo Garry Ringrose and Robbie Henshaw reunite in midfield.
All Blacks star Rieko Ioane shifts to the left wing from centre, while influential scrumhalf Jamison Gibson-Park starts alongside flyhalf Harry Byrne.
Head coach Leo Cullen will once again lean heavily on his powerful loose trio of captain Caelan Doris, Jack Conan and Josh van der Flier as the Irish giants chase a place in the final of Europe’s elite club competition in Bilbao.
