Springbok flanker Jean-Luc du Preez has re-signed with the Sharks despite rumoured interest from the Bulls.
At the conclusion of the Bulls’ Super Rugby campaign, coach John Mitchell stated that the union needed to go on a recruitment drive to bolster the depth of the squad with some experienced personnel.
Du Preez was reported to be on that wish-list, but according to The Witness newspaper, the Sharks have confirmed that the young loose forward has committed to a contract extension.
