Free State Cheetahs coach Daan Human has made three changes to his team to face the Pumas in Bloemfontein on Friday.
No 8 Stephan Malan drops out with Jannes Snyman coming in at blindside flank. As a result, opensider Daniel Maartens shifts to No 8, while Abongile Nokontwana moves from blindside to openside.
Human has also changed his front row as hooker Reinach Venter shifts to tighthead prop in place of Gunther Janse van Vuuren, with Elandre Huggett returning from injury to take his place in the starting XV.
The backline remains unchanged from the one that lost 52-24 to Griquas last weekend.
