Franco Smith says Glasgow are not wasting energy worrying about where they might host a Vodacom URC final.
With Scotstoun unavailable due to preparations for the Commonwealth Games and Murrayfield already booked for concerts, Glasgow may have to host a potential final outside Scotland.
The former champions head into the final round of the regular season at the top of the log, but Smith says his side are focused solely on beating Ulster in Belfast on Friday night.
“Obviously, that’s a frustration, but it’s something we can do nothing about at the moment,” said the former Springbok assistant coach.
“We’re not in the final yet and I don’t want to be side-tracked at the moment by things we can’t control.

“When it was originally announced that it won’t be here, that was when we were frustrated. Now we’ve learned to deal with it.
“Our mission is to get through this game this weekend.”
Smith knows his side will face a fierce challenge from an Ulster team still fighting for a place in the playoffs.
“I expect everything from them to be honest,” he said. “They need one point at least to be in the top eight. We expect that they will try to win.”
