AJ Coertzen shifts from fullback to wing in one of two changes to the Griquas starting XV to face the Golden Lions in Johannesburg on Friday.
Coertzen, who scored one of Griquas’ three tries in the loss against the Pumas, replaces Godfrey Ramaboea on the wing, with the experienced Eric Zana coming into the team at fullback.
In the only change among the forwards, Rugby Challenge captain Pieter van Vuren comes into the second row in place of FP Pelser.
There are a further three changes on the bench as hooker Wilmar Arnoldi, who excelled for Maties in the Varsity Cup, lock Wandile Putuma and flank Eital Bredenkamp, on debut, come in.
