The Barbarians scored seven tries to defeat Brazil 47-22 in São Paolo on Thursday.
The elite invitational team, coached by Eddie Jones, was well challenged by Brazil in the first half but proved too powerful for the tier-two nation as they ran rampant in the second half to clinch the win.
Tries by prop Fijian prop Campese Ma’afu, Argentinian wing Bautista Ezcurra and All Black fullback David Havili pushed the Baa-Baas out to a slender 19-15 lead at the break.
The Barbarians wrestled control of the contest in the second half, scoring four more tries, through Havili, Wallaby Angus Cottrell (two) and former Springbok Jano Vermaak.
Ex-Ireland captain Rory Best, who retired after the World Cup, was given the opportunity to convert the last try and he nailed the kick in what would be his last act as a competitor.
