Sadie starts as Bordeaux change one

South African tighthead prop Carlü Sadie will start for Bordeaux Bègles in Saturday’s Investec Champions Cup final against Leinster in Bilbao.

The defending champions have made just one change to the starting XV that beat Bath in their semi-final three weeks ago, with veteran loosehead prop Jefferson Poirot returning from suspension to replace Matis Perchaud.

Bordeaux have stuck with the same backline that dismantled Bath.

Coach Yannick Bru has again opted for a 6-2 split on the bench, with Ben Tameifuna, Lachie Swinton and Temo Matiu among the forward reinforcements.

Bordeaux are aiming to become just the sixth club to successfully defend their European crown.
