English Premiership side Bath have confirmed the signing of Sharks loosehead prop Juan Schoeman.
In an official statement on the club’s website, Bath gave a thorough squad update and one of the announcements were the signing of Schoeman.
The 28-year-old previous played for Affies, Tuks, the Junior Boks and the Blue Bulls before joining the Sharks in 2015.
‘The 28-year-old is disciplined in the tough art of front-row combat having scrummed his way through and up the various age-group ranks in South Africa culminating in Junior Springbok selection for the World Rugby U20 Championship in 2011,’ read Bath’s statement.
‘Schoeman is a reliable and skillful front-row operator and will add further dominance to Bath’s already formidable front five.’
