Sharks fullback Aphelele Fassi will miss their match against the Vodacom Bulls in Pretoria on Saturday after suffering a concussion last weekend.
The 21-year-old suffered the concussion in the Sharks’ loss to the Stormers in Durban last Saturday. According to Netwerk24, Fassi will not make the trip up to Loftus Versfeld.
It is unclear who will take Fassi’s place in the Sharks’ starting lineup, as Curwin Bosch, who was named on the bench against the Stormers, may still be unavailable after receiving a knock in training that caused him to pull out of last weekend’s match.
Rhyno Smith, who took Bosch’s place on the bench and came on in the second half, may get his opportunity in what would be his first start of the 2019 Vodacom Super Rugby season.
